It's been a long time since this site was updated! Ade is due to star in the forthcoming BBC One four-part drama series One of Us. Written by Jack and Harry Williams (who also wrote The Missing), it tells the story of two murders affecting two families in rural Scotland. There isn't much information about his character yet, but he will be starring alongside Juliet Stevenson. Filming begins in Scotland on Monday 24 August. Ade also opened the first Cheltenham CAMRA Real Ale Festival on Friday 14 August, and there are pictures and an interview in the Gloucestershire Echo here.

Happy New Year! Neville's Island ends its run tonight at the Duke of York's Theatre. I went to see it a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic! It was also confirmed last week that Ade will star in the BBC's adaptation of War and Peace, set to air sometime later this year. He will play Count Rostov and will star alongside the likes of Lily James from Downton Abbey and Paul Dano. There will be six parts and filming will take place this month in Russia and Lithuania. Ade was interviewed on the Danny Baker Show on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning. He talked about everything from Neville's Island and The Bad Shepherds to stoic philosophy. He also said he's going to be in War and Peace next year, so hopefully more on that soon! You can listen to the interview here.

Ade and Neil Morrissey appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show today promoting Neville's Island. As well as chatting about the play, they took part in a sausage-making competition (which Ade won). If you missed it, you can watch it back on ITV Player. They will also be interviewed on Steve Wright's show on BBC Radio 2 tomorrow at 2pm.

Ade appears in tonight's episode of Gadget Man on Channel 4 at 8.30pm. He'll be joining Richard Ayoade in his revolutionary restaurant. Expect to see robot waiters and levitating coffee machines.

Ade and Neil Morrissey were interviewed on ITV's Good Morning Britain today about Neville's Island. If you missed it, you can watch it back on ITV Player. They appear about five minutes from the end of the programme.

After a busy year including tours of the UK and Australia, The Bad Shepherds have announced that they will be on hiatus for the next 18 months. Ade of course will be starring in Neville's Island in the West End, while Troy Donockley will be embarking on a world tour with Nightwish. But fear not, they will be getting together now and then to work on a new album before touring again in 2016. You can read the statement on their website.

Ade will be starring in the West End production of Neville's Island, which will run at the Duke of York's Theatre in London from 10 October to 3 January. He is reprising his role as Gordon from 2013's Chichester Festival Theatre production, which was a big success, and he'll be joined by co-stars Neil Morrissey, Robert Webb and Miles Jupp. You can buy tickets here.
